Top trumps for Deep Sky

Go The Top becomes his sixth JRA winner ay Kyoto

Deep Sky took his JRA winners tally to six on Saturday January 25, when his son Go The Top impressively broke his maiden at Kyoto. Making his third career start, he has improved with every race, winning the 1800m dirt contest by two-and-a-half lengths.

Bred by Kasamatsu Bokujo, he is the second foal, and second winner out of Culture Top (Mayano Top Gun), a granddaughter of European Champion juvenile Culture Vulture. Culture Top also has a full sister two-year-old to Go The Top and is due again this season to Deep Sky.

Deep Sky, the imposing son of Agnes Tachyon, Sunday Silence's exceptional champion sire son, has now sired nine winners in total including Ultimatum, who beat 15 rivals on his debut at Kyoto and fellow JRA scorers Curren Cotillard, Deep Mitaka, Earth Wind and Arbre.
