Ima Discreet Lady overwhelms rivals in Bluebonnet Stakes at Lone Star Park

Discreet Cat mare shows no sign of slowing down at age seven

Ima Discreet Lady prompted the pace early from third before taking command at the top of the lane and drawing off to an impressive eight-length victory in the Bluebonnet Stakes at Lone Star Park on Thursday, 13 April.

The hard-knocking daughter of Discreet Cat is now an nine-time Stakes winner, which includes two editions of the Bluebonnet.

Ima Discreet Lady was bred in Texas by Larry S. Huntsinger and races for Todd R. White and Duane Coker. Ima Discreet Lady is out of Ima Three Blinger, a multiple Stakes-placed daughter of Too Much Bling. Ima Three Blinger has also produced the promising Ima Sky Traveler, a Stakes-placed four-year-old filly by Sky Mesa.

Discreet Cat is the sire of 36 Stakes winners. In addition to Ima Discreet Lady the stallion has sired Secret Spice, winner of the G1 Beholder Mile; Trenchtown Cat, winner of the Sanibel Island and Ana T. Stakes and Discreet Angel, a two-time Champion in Puerto Rico.
