Thunder Snow’s promising three-year-old colt Narukami confirmed himself as an exciting prospect with a comfortable victory in the Jpn G2 Kozukata Sho at Morioka, taking his record to four wins from five starts on Tuesday, 2 September.
Making his NAR debut following a five-length victory in the Fukushima Stakes in June, Narukami was quickly into stride and took the lead over his 11 rivals after a furlong. Travelling powerfully throughout the ten-furlong contest, he increased his advantage in the straight, cruising home to win under hands and heels by two and a half lengths.
