Third straight Stakes win for Bernay
Bernay, a four-year-old son of King's Best, added a third consecutive Black type win to his record on 7 September when landing the Grand Prix de Craon, run over 2400m at Craon in France.
This was his sixth career victory and in 13 starts he has been out of the first three just twice.
Bernay was bred by G Rollain and is out of the unraced Bering mare Beringold, also dam of G3 winner Don’t Hurry Me.
King’s Best has sired eight individual Black type performers so far this year, including multiple Group winner Meleagros and G1 performer Ajalo.
