Rule of Law colt wins impressively at Tokyo

Canterbury Dada wins by five-lengths in Mile Maiden

Darley Japan stallion Rule Of Law added another winner to his tally on Sunday May 1, when his three-year-old son Canterbury Dada ran away with the Mile Maiden at Tokyo, scoring by five-lengths. Ridden by Kosei Miura, he jumped smartly from the gates and never saw another rival to win impressively.

Bred by Yamaichi Bokujo, he is out of the winning Tony Bin mare Derivative and from the family of Champion juvenile filly, Idol Marie.

Rule of Law stands for one million yen and was a Stakes winner at two before winning the world's oldest classic, the St Leger, at three. He was also rated the equal of his outstanding sire of sires Kingmambo and one of his most famous sons, King Kamehameha.
