God Blue Bee, a son of Pyro, became a new Stakes winner for his sire when landing the Listed Enif Stakes at Hanshin. Run over 1400m on dirt, he showed a good turn of foot in the final 200m to win going away by one and a quarter lengths.
From 29 career starts, God Blue Bee has now won five races including the Open class Satsuma Stakes at Kokura earlier this season.
Bred by Teppei Yoshizumi, God Blue Bee is one of 11 winners bred by the winning Brian’s Time mare God Beloved Me and a full brother to Pyro’s fellow Stakes winner Mutually.
Pyro is perennially one of Japan’s premier dirt stallions and he again sits inside the top 10 in 2026 by prize money. He has sired 27 career Black Type performers including Group winners Meisho Hario, B B Barrel and Kenshinko.
