New two-year-old Stakes winner for King’s Best

My Year Is A Day victorious in French Listed contest

My Year Is A Day, a two-year-old daughter of King's Best, gained her first Black type win in impressive fashion on 8 September when landing the Listed Criterium de l’Ouest, run over 1650m at Craon in France.

Winning by two lengths, she was recorded her third career victory having won twice in June of this year. She was also placed second in the Listed Prix Six Perfections at Deauville on her last start.

Bred by Ecurie Haras du Cadran, A. von Gunten, A. Gilibert, the filly is out of the winning Fasliyev mare Aliyeska, also dam of another Black type performer in Whipsaw City. They are from the family of Champion G1 winner Kalaglow.

King’s Best is also sire this year of G3 winner Clara Baby and Listed winners Navajo Chief and Regarde Moi.
