In Your Palace, a four-year-old son of Palace Malice, landed his first Stakes race on Saturday, 6 September when winning the Listed Enif Stakes at Hanshin. Held up near the rear in the 1400m dirt contest, he came late to record a one-and-three-quarter length victory.
In Your Palace has now won five of his 17 career starts and came into the race on the back of a second in the G3 Tokai Stakes at Chukyo.
Bred in the US by Winchester Farm, he is out of the Deep Impact mare Queen’s Turf, whose grandam is Fursa, the dam of nine-time Stakes winner Furioso.
Palace Malice is the sire of 15 Stakes winners including Jantar Mantar, the winner of three G1s including the Yasuda Kinen in June.
