New Stakes winner for King’s Best

Unbeaten Ming Dynasty wins the Grand Prix de Clairefontaine

Three-year-old King's Best colt Ming Dynasty maintained his unbeaten record in impressive style on 25 August when landing the 2400m Grand Prix de Clairefontaine in France.

Trained by Mikel Delzangles, Ming Dynasty won on his racecourse debut at Maisons-Laffitte back in April, before following up with victory at Clairefontaine on 24 July.

Bred by Dayton Investments Limited, Ming Dynasty is out of the winning Sadler’s Wells mare Memoire, herself a daughter of G1 winner Moonlight Dance.

King’s Best has now sired eight Black type performers this year, including G3 and multiple Listed winner Meleagros.
