Admire Moon sired a new Stakes winner on Sunday November 23 when his son Giovanni landed the Listed Shimotsuki Stakes at Tokyo. Run over 1400m on dirt, he was victorious by three-quarters-of-a-length with three lengths back to the third.

Bred by Darley, Giovanni is out of the Kingmambo mare Autumn Melody, who has already produced G1 filly Pixie Princess and is from the family of the great Dubai Millennium.

Giovanni becomes Admire Moon's seventh Stakes winner to come from his first crop that includes the Group winners Hakusan Moon, Leo Active, Fine Choice and Archimedes.
