New JRA winner for Alkaased

Siberian Fact obliges at Niigata to become his sire’s 33rd individual winner

Darley Japan’s promising young sire Alkaased further increased his winners’ total at the weekend, when Siberian Fact won at Niigata on 22 August.

The three-year-old colt, who is trained by Masahiro Horii, landed the nine-furlong maiden on the dirt - winning by three quarters of a length to become the 33rd individual winner for his sire.

Bred by Amaba in Hidaka Cho, Siberian Fact is out of the Known Fact mare Max Fax, who is now dam of four winners. She is herself a half sister to the multiple G2 winner and G1 performer Maxzene.
