Meleagros wins the Grand Prix de la Ville de Nantes

Son of King's Best wins his second Stakes race

King's Best's consistent son Meleagros won his second Stakes race on Saturday October 25 when landing the Listed Grand Prix de la Ville de Nantes over 2400m. Winning his fifth career start, he has performed with credit this season in France, contesting some of their top Group races.

Bred by Oak Hill Stud, Meleagros is out of the Stakes-placed Royal Academy mare Viola Royale, who is also the dam of Listed winner and G3 performer St Andrews.

King's Best is the sire of 53 Stakes winners including the Derby winners Workforce and Eishin Flash, top miles Creachadoir and Proclamation and fellow G1-winners Sajjhaa, Royal Diamond, King's Apostle and Dubai Surprise.
