Hakusan Moon records his second Group win

The son of Admire Moon takes the G3 Ibis Summer Dash

Hakusan Moon, a colt from the first crop of Admire Moon, recorded his second Group victory on Sunday July 28 when landing the G3 Ibis Summer Dash over 1000m at Niigata. Today's three-quarter length victory was his sixth of his career (he also won the G3 Keihan Hai in 2012) and took his career earnings to over 170,000,000 Yen.

Bred by Shirai Stud Farm, Hakusan Moon is out of the five-time winning mare Ciliege (Sakura Bakushin O) and has two full siblings, a two-year-old sister named B B Guerlain and a foal brother born in February this year.

Hakusan Moon is now showing his best form at the age of four, the age that Admire Moon produced his best displays on the racetrack. Named Horse of the Year in Japan, he won the Japan Cup and Takarazuka Kinen as well as a top-fight victory in Dubai in the Dubai Duty Free. As well as Hakusan Moon, Admire Moon has also sired in his first crop a pair of Group-winning juveniles in Leo Active and Fine Choice.
