Fourth victory for Hakusan Moon

Son of Admire Moon wins well at Hanshin

Three-year-old colt Hakusan Moon has been a consistent campaigner for his sire Admire Moon since winning on his very first start at two, and on 1 October he recorded his fourth career victory when successful over six furlongs at Hanshin.

Sent off as favourite for the race, Hakusan Moon ran on superbly close to home to win by a length and three quarters.

Bred by Shirai Stud Farm, Hakusan Moon is out of the Sakura Bakushin mare Ciliega – a five-time winner herself and a daughter of Black type performer Megami Guerlain.

Admire Moon has been enjoying another successful year with his runners, siring no fewer than 35 winners, ten of whom are two-year-olds. His star 2012 performers to date are Leo Active, who added a second Group victory to his record last month, and Group performers Sacred Reve and Archimedes.
