Fantastic first Japanese foals by King’s Best

Average over 13 times his fee at the Select Sale

Japan’s biggest sale, the Select Sale, was held in Northern Horse Park from 14-15 July and the first Japan-bred foals by Darley stallion King’s best were very popular with buyers.

Five foals by the proven sire were sold altogether and averaged 18.2 million yen – an outstanding 13.1 times his stud fee. These results made him the leading imported stallion at the sale.

King's Best is the most successful stallion son of the great Kingmambo with more G1 winners than all the others. He is the world-class sire of Tokyo Yushun-Tenno Sho winner Eishin Flash, plus the fastest ever Epsom Derby winner Workforce.
