Black Eleven records his second JRA victory

Son of Alkaased wins at Kyoto to become the first dual JRA winner for his sire

Darley Japan's promising young sire Alkaased recorded his first dual JRA winner on 2 May when his first-crop son Black Eleven ran out the impressive winner of the 1400m conditions race on the dirt at Kyoto.

Despite missing the break, Black Eleven travelled well once into his stride and quickening impressively in the closing stage, crossed the line eased down under Hiroyuki Uchida. This was his second career win, having broken his maiden by four lengths on the turf as a juvenile.

Black Eleven is out of Dream Shift (Commander in Chief) and was bred by Toyosato Bokujo in Hidaka-cho.
