Another winner for Admire Moon

Fine Choice wins at Hakodate

It was the fourth two-year-old winner for Admire Moon when the filly Fine Choice won the fifth race at Hakodate racecourse on July, 23. The winner had a three-length lead at the finishing post and defeated a field of 11 runners over six furlongs on turf. Fine Choice was bred by Tomita Bokujo and is owned by Junzo Miyakawa. The filly is out of the four-time winning mare in Japan Affrettata, a daughter of the Japanese Horse of the Year Taiki Shuttle. The mare had a full brother to Fine Choice in 2010.

Admire Moon, sire of Fine Choice, was the Horse of the Year in Japan when winning three G1 races in 2007 culminating in a brave victory in the Japan Cup. He also won the Dubai Duty Free and the prestigious Takarazuka Kinen. The stallion stands at Darley Japan for 3.5 million yen.
