Alkaased's first crop continue their winning ways

Oshu Best is victorious at Fukushima to become his sire's 19th individual winner

Oshu Best, a three-year-old son of Darley stallion Alkaased, became the 19th individual winner for his sire on 19 April when winning the 1700m maiden on the dirt at Fukushima.

Settled towards the rear of the field, Oshu Best came wide around the final turn and accelerating impressively down the home stretch, flew past his eight rivals to win by a length and a quarter.

Oshu Best, is out of the Mutakddim mare Green Hill Star and was bred by Shadai Bokujo in Shiraoi and being inbred 3x4 to Mr Prospectpr, this speedy son of Alkaased will hopefully thrive on both turf and dirt.
